Position Responsibilities:
Leads development and implementation processes for the assigned organization’s IT systems and department.
Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
Creates a multi-year plan to operationalize a technology support strategy, with key milestones, deliverables, and realization targets.
Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
Prepares and administers an annual expense budget for the IT office.
Serves as trusted advisor to other executives and leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs, ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs.
Oversee and supervise assigned staff performance, provide guidance, support and identify development needs.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
Ensures the mission, vision, values, and priorities of the archdiocese is communicated clearly and carried out effectively, efficiently, and collaboratively within assigned office.
In collaboration and consultation with the Department Head, establish and implement strategic short- and long-term office goals, plans, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Oversees efforts in establishing documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies for technology support functions and ensure adherence to standards across teams.
Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
Oversees security of systems, networks, and organization information.
Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
Stays abreast of industry trends and understands the direction of applicable technology support capabilities and ensures technology environment is agile enough to change quickly to support.
Monitor employee productivity while providing constructive feedback and coaching.
Monitors staff hours, reviews, and approves timesheets in a timely manner.
In collaboration with the Department Head recruits, interviews, hires, and trains office staff within assigned office.
Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy is mandatory.
