Purpose of Job The primary purpose of an IT Business/Clinical Analyst is to bridge the gap between healthcare operations and technology. By collaborating with healthcare and business professionals, IT teams, and vendors, you will analyze, design, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and quality of patient care. Your role involves translating workflows into technical requirements, configuring and maintainingapplications, and providing support to end-users. By leveraging your expertise in both healthcare practices and information technology, you will contribute to the advancement of clinical and business processesand overall healthcare delivery, ultimately improving patient outcomes and the overall effectiveness of the healthcare organization. Job Responsibilities Partners with customer sponsors, IT partners and cross-functional teams to evaluate and deliver new applications and upgrade existing applications. Maintains the application portfolio and adheres to the application lifecycle for the applications in their scope. Follows the IT project process for planning, assessing, and completing projects that impact their applications or stakeholders. Follows the IT monthly release process for deploying enhancements/requests for the stakeholders they support. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and address concerns. Support ongoing operations/maintenance/enhancement of existing solutions, in partnership with applicable stakeholders. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for best practices, supports end-user technology by providing consultation and support on complex projects and/or issues, investigates issues and underlying causes to provide solutions to recover or continue operations. The role requires the ability to bridge the gap between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding. Minimum Education/Work Experience 4+ years of healthcare experience 3+ years of analyst experience Bachelor's Degree Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions. Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above. Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks. Analytical problem solvers who will understand issues, evaluate solutions and work with their colleagues to resolve issues. Problem solving skills and quick thinking to own and resolve issues independently, thoroughly and efficiently. Displays ownership, accountability, and advanced customer service skills. Resolve customer issues efficiently, effectively, empathetically and builds trust and confidence with customers. Strong written & verbal communications skills. Project management background preferred.
