Key responsibilities:
Understand the Engineering Business Process, analyzes improvements, Work with customers to develop improved business processes and tools.
Own CAD Applications roadmap, collaborate with vendors for new versions availability, participate in Beta testing and validate newer versions of Mechanical CAD Applications
Responsible for introduction of new CAD applications to the PLM/CAD landscape, including benchmarking with the industry, running proof of concepts, finalizing plan for implementation and deploy the changes.
Resolving production issues and provide workaround solutions.
Preparation of a business requirements document for the Automation tools, as well as enhancements to Teamcenter's design functionality
Provision of CAD Training Sessions to Business Units/Project Teams
Creation of Incident tickets with CAD application vendors
Knowledge on Should costing and aPriori tools is added advantage.
