This position is responsible for setting direction and implementing automation of provisioning infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) in an operating environment that comprises private data centers serving compute (VMWare, physical), network (Palo Alto, Cisco, F5, pfSense, Aruba (SilverPeak), HAProxy), storage (Powerscale (Isilon), NetApp, Powervault), at global scale, as well as public cloud resources in Microsoft Azure. Additionally, this position is to review and analyze the current state of technology operations process models, identify improvement opportunities, take quick wins as advisable, and establish a development backlog to prioritize among management peers. This role may build a new team that delivers and maintains the backlog.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement and manage IaC using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Azure ARM; implement integration with monitor infrastructure and telemetry using appropriate automated system incident response tools; Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. Manage virtual machine provisioning via integration with VMware and Azure ARM; Manage changes and versioning of automation code and infrastructure templates using version control systems like Git. Automate tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Shell. Work closely with business partners to capture, analyze, and optimize business process models and understand, identify, and support automation opportunities by leading automated solutions and building out dependent technical components. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring collaboration, professionalism, and cooperation against scope, timelines, and budgets. Lead E2E solution development activities including but not limited to: analysis, design, development, testing, and support; understand container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Employ Agile methodology for working efficiently with ambiguity and incorporating Just-in-Time and Just-Enough concepts for rapid realization of value, and practical feedback loops. Drive continuous adoption of next generation technologies in generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cognitive computing for practical application in solving day-to-day business problems. Provide continuous expert consultation on relevant automation concepts, platforms, and tools spanning BPA to RPA, low/no-code to high-code and APIs. Evolve a Hyperautomation Center of Excellence in the Information Technology domain.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills with excellent collaboration and attention to detail; Experience in project management and strategic thinking. Show strong software engineering skills with all common .NET variants, technical expertise in managing IaC, cloud services, operating systems, and virtualization technologies, and show competency in PowerBI and PowerBI Embedded. Ability to identify and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Demonstrate prior success in process model and workflow engineering, simplification, and optimization. Exhibit expertise in process management and automation tools. Show expertise in effective, standards-based documentation and cataloging of business process models as a basis for continuously optimizing value streams. Demonstrate success with composability in software engineering, automation solutions, and use of declarative and idempotent approaches to provisioning. Have substantial experience in Azure (Durable Functions, Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Event Hub, Service Bus) as orchestration and automation platform. Have experience in developing solutions with PowerApps and exhibit expert skills in PowerShell; experience in building and supporting highly reliable enterprise systems integrations; experience in broad, large-enterprise data center technologies and logos.

The Compensation range for this role is 102, 632.40 - 205, 264.80 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
