The company has openings for Ironworker Foreperson/Leaderperson. The candidate will lead a crew of skilled trade personnel in the fabrication and/or repair of commercial vessels and ships.
Oversee the work of fitters, welders, tackers, and helpersWork with job Superintendent to establish staff requirementsEstablish job assignment priority with Production ManagerProvide employees with job assignmentsMonitor production to ensure quality, scheduling, and cost objectives are being metOutdoorsWork in confined spaces, in the elements, aboard shipyard vessels, in the shop, and travel outside the facilities to local ports in the area via company truckHiring Process:
