Based onrole, acts as a backup to the manager. Responsibilities includeindependently resolving issues in brokerage and advisory accountsincluding escalated issues and inquiries from home office leaders andfield staff. Takes a leadership role as a technical expert and isresponsible for identifying proactive solutions. Participates in crossfunctional projects and committees. Assists manager in the oversight ofday-to-day operations, including developing, recommending andimplementing new policies and procedures. Is involved in or supervisesthe scheduling of processing and call center support includingmonitoring team service levels. Independently seeks, investigates andimplements process improvements. Provides coaching and training to lessexperienced team members including both management and non-managementstaff. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for the day-to-dayoperations of the fees & billing team processes. Review and analyzereports to determine best course of actions to update billing system andcustodial system to correctly bill our clients. Research and resolve avariety of inquiries from internal teams related to fee and billingprocesses. Responsible for monitoring, reconciling, and executing eventsin the investment advisory fee cycle to ensure proper billing andadjustments impacting customer accounts and advisor compensation. Takesa leadership role as a technical expert and is responsible foridentifying proactive solutions. Participates in cross functionalprojects and committees. Resolves a variety of investment operationsinquiries that have been escalated from the home office and field staff.Uses industry knowledge and analytical skills to resolve problems.Handles cases that are escalated from team member. Participates inprocess improvements, product introduction, or system enhancementsacross the department. Participates in system testing for projects andsystem maintenance that requires operational expertise. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor\'s degree in Business or related field or equivalent industryexperience. Broad professional knowledge of the investment industrygained through a minimum of three to five years in an investment serviceor operations capacity. Demonstrated analytical skills and confidence tomake judgments and decisions involving ambiguity. Demonstratedinitiative to investigate, recognize, and solve problems. Strong Exceland/or other database management skills. Familiarity with Investmentadvisory accounts operations. Knowledge of NetX360 or Envestnetpreferred.
