　　Family owned for 90+ yearsPosition Summary:This person is responsible for managing the Inventory Control operations; monitoring inventory in a multiple site operation, implementing policies, objectives, and initiatives, and employing standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency; assist with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations, and implement inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting; collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices.Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?Ability to effectively communicate both written and orallyWell-defined skills and experience in observation, problem identification and resolution utilizing established problem solving techniquesExcellent computer skills including working with spreadsheets and reportingHave a goal and profit driven mindsetAbility to work effectively as part of a teamEffectively manage othersAbility to prepare and manage a budgetAbility to manage multiple inventories and develop standardized proceduresDo These Responsibilities Interest YOU?Effectively monitors the accuracy of all inventories through observation, reports and the cycle count process. Maintain inventory accuracy at or above company goals. Develop & execute daily, weekly & monthly action plans that increase quality & service.

　　Follows-up with other departments as required to plan for & identify root causes of inventory deviation through cause & effect analysis assuring any inventory issues are resolved completely and in a timely manner.

　　Review & analyze of customer shipping errors and develop corresponding action plans to improve shipping accuracy rates.Prepare annual inventory adjustment budgets and provide timely and accurate forecasts on a monthly basis.Assures area generates required DC performance reporting and publishes this info to the appropriate DC management staff. Performs appropriate follow-up on all issues they are resolved.Handles any product recall or Field Correction situation-Sends letters to customers in the case of product recalls in a timely manner and reconciles stock. Assures procedures are in place and updated as necessary. Invoices vendors for any costs associated with product recalls or field corrections.
