　　POSITION OVERVIEW:

　　Responsible for performing interventional radiology procedures and following established protocols for patient care and safety. Receives direction from Radiology leadership.

　　EDUCATION:

　　Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, required.EXPERIENCE:

　　1 years' experience as a registered radiologic technologist, required.

　　2 years' experience in an interventional radiology technologist position, preferred.

　　LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

　　ARRT Certification, required.

　　Current MT State License as a Diagnostic Radiographer, required.

　　Basic Life Support (BLS), required.

　　KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

　　Working knowledge of imaging equipment.

　　Able to follow Great Falls Hospital and Great Falls Clinic policies and procedures.

　　Anatomy and Physiology.

　　Knowledge of Radiation Safety.

　　Ability to follow and apply written direction.

　　Attention to detail when performing imaging exams.

　　Computer and Keyboarding skills.

　　Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel knowledge.

　　Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
