MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a student at SUNY Albany’s School of Public Health; AND must have completed at least 12 credits of coursework toward their degree. Cannot be on academic probation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Enrolled in MPH or MS Epidemiology Program at UAlbany SPH
Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA purification.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected candidates will provide support for the work of the Laboratory of Microbial Gene Regulation. The selected candidates will be trained in all aspects of a basic science research project. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the incumbents will be trained in the design of biology experiments, and the analysis and archiving of data arising from those experiments. The selected candidates will also participate in science discussions and presentations.

Employment is onsite at 150 New Scotland Avenue. No travel. Two positions are available. Employment dates: 5/15/23 (BOB) - 8/11/23 (COB). 40 hr/week.
