Logistics Intern

　　The Logistics Intern is a member of the logistics team and plays a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a company's supply chain and distribution network and collaborates with all members of the team. This internship will last from May until August of 2024.

　　DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:

　　Participate in Daily Operations Huddle to support the coordination of resources

　　Conduct market assessment

　　Utilizes software to monitor and analyze trucking efficiency and performance

　　Works with accounting to answer payment questions

　　Review safety rating of haulers

　　Review plans and coordinates trucking capacity for operational needs

　　Enters data into software to document daily activities

　　Special Projects as assigned

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Preferred, currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, or other related disciplines with an interest in construction.

　　Dedication to learning, expanding knowledge, and continuous improvement.

　　Interest in Heavy Highway/Civil construction projects.

　　Excellent oral and written communication skills.

　　Superior organizational and prioritization skills.

　　Problem-solving, acceptance of responsibility, and work ethic.

　　Motivation to complete tasks on time and on budget.

　　Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
