　　This opportunity entails being responsible for, under close supervision, assisting assigned department(s) and/or project(s) with basic construction services-related tasks which may reflect elements of standard post-secondary construction services curriculum, usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.

　　Our Boston office seeks a Project Controls Intern for Summer 2024.

　　Relocation and housing are NOT provided for this position.

　　What You'll Do:

　　Assists with construction office support tasks including but not limited to: taking of meeting minutes, assisting in processing of tracking logs, and other department deliverables.

　　Attends and observes meetings with both internal and external teams of a project.

　　Observes on-site material testing. May assist with basic shop drawing review and help ensure that procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications.

　　Conducts basic research and data collection.

　　Reads construction drawings and materials and provides feedback as requested.

　　Assists on portions of special projects as directed.

　　What You'll Need:

　　High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services programWhat We Prefer:

　　Completion of 2 years of post-secondary construction services programWhat You'll Bring:

　　Assisting in program and project controls assignments including scheduling, cost estimating, document control and risk management

　　Working with a dynamic team that includes HNTB staff, the client and subconsultants

　　Performs clerical and administrative support tasks, including creation, typing, and editing of program correspondence, reports, program handbooks, and other publications

　　Organizes meetings, prepares meeting handouts, participates in, and prepares minutes, documents and follows-up up on important actions and decisions from meetings

　　Prepares from scratch and/or format Microsoft office files and PowerPoint presentations as needed

　　Prepare from scratch various maps, graphics, newsletters, reports, or other

　　Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on project delivery and progress
