BHLS is partnering with a CT Based Insurance company that is looking for an Attorney with annuity and securities experience for a 3-6-month contract. Location is flexible with a possible need to travel to Northern CT occasionally. The responsibilities include;

　　Close involvement with senior business members on product development of complex fixed, fixed indexed annuity and variable annuity productsCollaborate with senior business leaders and members of the legal department on operational initiativesProviding legal support to Company departments, including sales, marketing, operations and complianceShould have extensive experience in life insurance company products, securities law, state insurance law, distribution and operations.

　　Experience with federal securities laws, including FINRA Rules, and State Insurance LawExperience with SEC registration statement filings including N4 and S1 and state product filingsAbility to make decisions, use independent judgment, establish priorities and work effectively on multiple initiatives concurrentlyAbility to work with a geographically dispersed teamAdvanced knowledge of annuity service, operations and regulatory requirementsCapacity to consider, process and filter large amounts of complex information quickly and identify appropriate actions in a fast paced environmentAbility to work across enterprise and present complex matters to senior business leadersStrong communication skills, work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountabilityRate flexible DOEBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
