Thebusiness area serves selected weather-dependent customers to whom accurate,real-time, uninterrupted, and reliable weather data is essential to runefficient operations.

  MissionsReporting to the Sales Manager Renewable Energy, you will be in charge ofresponding to customer inquiries, securing new sales opportunities andensuring customer satisfaction. This is a hybrid role in our Louisville,Colorado office.

  Business Development & GrowthConvert leads to opportunitiesFollow up qualified leads according to given criteria (follow up time,transformation to opportunities)Manage communication with distributors, agents, customers, value addedresellers, and / or integrators in all sales related issues andinquiries, and ensure customer feedback is routed through the proper channelA mix of outbound cold and warm calls and emailsImprove potential success rateMaintain a cadence of communicating with customers for deeper engagement andproducts / services renewal

  Sales & ServicesSupport Sales activities with existing customers and partnersQualification of customer needs and requirementsCreating and maintain database of current and potential customers in our ERPResponding to customer inquiries and providing customers with quotations andinformation on Vaisala offeringsWork closely with internal teamsMeet objectives set by leadershipUpsale with new or improved services

  ProfileBachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering, technical orother relevant discipline. Minimum 2 years of inside sales experience(international and industrial environment preferred).Technical sales background and knowledge of field sales practices andproceduresAdhere to WEA Sales processesExperience with Microsoft Office software programs, Oracle, and SalesforceExcellent communicatorFluency in French would be a bonus (not required)Self-motivated, creative, reliable, flexible, and well-organized teamplayer with a positive attitude towards customer serviceStrong attention to detail, follow through, time management, andmulti-tasking abilitiesProactive sales spirit
