　　Job Overview

　　The Inpatient Service Specialist (ISS) provides administrative and highlevel customer service support to patients, families and internal teammembers. The ISS facilitates the Patient-Family Experience in the inpatientunits at the main campus. Additional duties may include, but are notlimited to, greeting and directing patients and families to variouslocations; collecting information from patients/families and entering itinto a medical records system; answering and routing telephone inquiries;interacting with patients and families in order to determine and best meettheir needs; and copying, scanning and/or filing various documents.

　　Qualifications

　　EDUCATION - High School Diploma or equivalent.EXPERIENCE - One year of administrative/clerical experience in a customerservice environment.EQUIVALENCY - A relevant associate or bachelor degree may substitute for therequired experience on a year for year basis.This position may require a BLS certification from the American HeartAssociation.
