Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Infrastructure Engineer in Delray Beach, Florida. This role is primarily focused on coordinating activities around desktop and notebook computers and their network connections, maintaining and supporting other technology equipment and applications, including data backup, file and application servers, printer and print servers, VMWare hosts and virtual servers, storage area networks and virtual desktops among others.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate activities around desktop and notebook computers and their network connections

• Maintain and support technology equipment and applications, including data backup, file and application servers, printer and print servers

• Work on VMWare hosts and virtual servers, storage area networks and virtual desktops

• Design, setup and install VPNs, switches, firewalls, routers and wireless networks

• Work with IT staff in the design, layout and installation of hardware and software for new networks and modifications to existing networks

• Follow established problem resolution procedures in resolving software problems

• Prepare and ensure accuracy of documentation such as Procedures, troubleshooting, manuals, etc.

• Run diagnostics, monitor systems and networks, and determine and anticipate possible hardware problems and repairs

• Participate in resolving more difficult network problems and obtaining IT assistance when necessary

• Evaluate software and tests new software; upgrade equipment and provide training to users

• Assist in the acquisition of computers and peripheral devices

• Maintain Configuration Management of all infrastructure equipment, including servers, storage, switches, connections, routers, firewalls

• Install communications equipment and associated software

• Maintain and implement all Telecommunication needs, including Legacy phone systems, circuits, billing, Unified Communications solutions, Voice over IP phone system and SIP circuits

• Monitor and maintain the network and network communications

• Participate in the team's on-call support rotation. Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as an Infrastructure Engineer.

• Proficiency in VMware is a necessary requirement for this role.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Computing System is essential.

• The applicant must have demonstrable skills in Veeam Backup.

• Familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls is expected.

• The candidate should be adept at using Azure Active Directory.

• Practical experience with NetApp is required.

• The applicant must have expertise in Disaster Recovery procedures.

• Proficiency in O 365 is a key requirement for this role.

• The candidate should have experience with Hyper-V.

• Hands-on knowledge of Cisco Technologies is necessary.

• The applicant must have a strong background in Networking.
