Then we have a great opportunity for you to join a growing team in the Philadelphia, PA area!!As an Information Security Specialist III you will:Deliver reliable and effective Information Technology services to government clients to support critical mission needs.Join an engaged, 100% employee-owned company.Work with the latest, cutting-edge technologyHave a direct impact on the success of a National Priority ProgramWork with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals.Receive a robust benefits package that includesEnjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a single accrual leave plan.A week in the life of an Information Security Specialist III:Maintain security policies and standardsEnsure compliance throughout the organizationProvides Risk Management Framework, circuit/system accreditation, and certification policy servicesParticipate in the development or modification of the computer environment IA security program plans and requirementsHelping develop procedures to ensure system users are aware of their IA responsibilities before granting access to DoD information systemsRecognize possible security violations and takes appropriate action to report the incident, as requiredEnsure IA requirements are integrated into the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for that system or DoD ComponentEnsure IA security requirements are appropriately identified in computer environment operation procedures and collect and maintain data needed to meet system IA reporting requirementsProvide oversight for the Computer Network Defense-Service Provider (CNDSP)Work with system owners to close IAVMs/ICVMs and open plan of action and milestones (POA&Ms) in a rapid fashion, in accordance with DoDFounded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
