POSITION SUMMARY
As our Industrial Services Specialist – Trinidad based, you will be Responsible for developing and implementing work processes, ensuring compliance and up-to-date documentation for Industrial Services, and maintaining product quality and food safety standards.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Aid in the development and implementation of work processes, procedures and technical resources related to Industrial Services and ensure that the documentation is always up to date and both legal and Nestlé compliant. i.e., flow diagrams, HVAC Schematics, P&IDs, log sheets, equipment records, operating permits etc."
Ensure that all utilities (air, gases, water, steam, water-conditioning chemicals) that come, or may accidentally come, in direct contact with products are treated according to acceptance criteria for product and processes."
Ensure the efficient conversion of energy, treatment of water and the treatment and disposal of waste and that all members of the Industrial Service team play an active role assisting in the improvement of energy and water usage and reducing waste across the site through continual improvement initiatives”.
Ensure that the full requirements of the client (factory, distribution etc) are always available and manage all outsourced activities relating to Industrial Services.
Execute M&I in accordance with the Nestlé Maintenance Strategy using Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) as the process to manage the asset lifecycle.
Ensure that all effort is directed towards a low cost, highly efficient operation and manage the roles and responsibilities of the water supply, distribution and treatment, wastewater treatment and waste disposal, compressed air, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical supply, diesel storage and fire hydrant water supply in accordance with all internal and external standards, regulations and audits.
Ensure that the utilities are operated, maintained, distributed, and inspected in accordance with all internal and external standards, regulations, and audits.
Ensure Industrial Services technicians are properly trained, have the correct certification and sufficient utilities process and equipment functional knowledge to run the utilities."
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
BSc. Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (master’s would be an asset)
At least 5 years in a Technical Utilities Field, preferably with boilers, air compressors and refrigeration systems.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for safety, environment, and statutory inspections. (OSH & EMA)
At least 2 years leading people.
Prior experience in a multicultural / varied nationality environment
Strong decision making and judgement skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills, detail oriented, analytical, and creative mind set.
