Business context:
As the PWP (PageWide Printing) Press Install Project Manager, you will be working within HP’s Industrial Prints Services organization. In this capacity you will work directly with our customers and across the PWP Operations and Solutions teams to plan and execute the correct, complete, and timely delivery and installation of PWP Presses within our customer’s facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that the customer has prepared to receive the press and that all logistics and staffing for executing the install have been made. Finally, you will remotely, or directly oversee all aspects of the install ensuring it successfully meets our customer’s expectations, schedule, and HP cost requirements.
Job responsibilities:
Manage, install, upgrades, move and relocate of PWP presses across EMEA.
Ensure efficient monitoring and reporting of performance metrics for the install function.
Capability of managing 3 - 4 projects per quarter with various complexities.
Strong initiative towards process optimization; knowledge acquisition and quality assurance.
Contribute to various internal projects within the organization.
Key deliverables/accountabilities:
Projects timely completion within quality, customer satisfaction, time, and cost targets.
Drive improvements in installation process and projects.
Working relationships:
Internal: Account Management, Solution Consultants, Account Service Management, GBU Operations.
External: Customers, Service suppliers.
Knowledge requirements:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical).
Moderate level of planning and project management.
Experience in virtual team environment.
Fluent in English.
Other languages would be an asset.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Excellent and demonstrated project management skills.
Excellent and demonstrated experience in detailed project planning and execution.
Strong communication skills.
Experience working with and managing external suppliers to provide services.
Solid problem - solving skills to adapt to unexpected changes.
