Description:
Union Working Environment
Primary duties include:
Providing quick response to machine malfunctions
Performing preventative maintenance throughout the plant
Performing lubrication, repair, mechanical troubleshooting and resolution of machines and equipment
Will be working with hydraulics and pneumatics
Troubleshoot, repair, and install variable frequency drives, motors, sensors, switches, and photo eyes
Conduct, maintain, test and repair of electrical/electronic components
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Would like candidate to know difference between low voltage and control voltage.
2-3 years of mechanical experience
Prefer electrical troubleshooting experience-- 480v, single and three phase power
Knowledge of motors, servos, pumps, relays, controls and power transmission systems
Ability to utilize laptop to analyze and troubleshoot
Prefer basic PLC troubleshooting experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Must be receptive to training
Ability to climb, work beneath machines, and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work
Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed
Must be detail oriented and self motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
