What You Will Do
The Indirect Tax Supervisor will lead all initiatives regarding indirect tax for Kenvue, coordinating tax team providing coaching and technical guidance; supporting business areas with enquires and connecting tax impacts on projects across different areas. Is responsible for coordinating the tax team with focus on calculation, ancillary obligations, auditing and inspections. Must support initiatives involving all Tax related activities and daily routine / project within agreed scope, is required to understand business process, especially Tax, compliance and management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the tax function including indirect tax planning, compliance, audits, tax analysis, pricing, tax risk management, and financial reporting in a Latam Scope.
Manages the accuracy and timeliness of tax reporting of information for both internal and external compliance requirements of the tax function.
Oversees internal audit and local government compliance as it relates to tax documentation.
Works directly with finance partners across the company to prepare both tax and financial analysis and to offer guidance.
Improves and maintains tax policies and tax legislation.
Identifies, researches and develops tax issues and opportunities for improvement.
Advises on domestic and international tax and finance disciplines as well as the business on an ongoing basis.
Knowledge in end-to-end tax calculation (Indirect Taxes) as well as respective tax ancillary obligations.
Support the local taxes key processes and procedures in order to meet all local requirements and regulations.
Indirect Tax Credit management, refund submissions and appliances, reviewing initiatives related.
Planning and forecasting: work with business partners to challenge assumptions, calculate models, review financial outputs with management, and drive value creation on decision making.
Support continuous improvements for tax processes/analytics and other ad hoc analyses/projects.
Audit and Compliance: oversite of internal controls supporting internal/external audits.
Execute month-end close routines for tax consolidation and tax account reconciliations review.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
6 years of related experience.
Bachelor or equivalent (Adm, Law or Accounting).
Desirable MBA.
Intermediate English.
Intermediate Spanish.
Advanced Excel.
Mainly Colombia/México/Argentina Tax Knowledge
Experience with ERPs (SAP)
Desirable Power Apps/B.I. capabilities
Strong collaboration and demonstrated business parterning with the ability to influence;.
Solid communication skills, able to interact with leadership;.
Strong analytical and risk management capabilities.
