An Import Compliance and Purchasing Specialist is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

　　Job Duties:

　　Coordinate companys international purchasing operations especially in raw materials and finished materials for manufacturing automotive parts. Ensure that all import materials meet international and domestic regulatory standards. Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound materials and maintain inventory control and report anticipated material requests. Research current international market price trends, market conditions, and changes to determine and to provide most cost-effective materials in production procedures. Ensure all international transactions are properly documented in compliance with international and U.S. customs rules and regulations, including classifications, valuation, origin, tariff treatment, and preferential treatments. Study and understand Free Trade Agreements, tariff classifications, license requirements to reduce the overall corporate international purchasing cost. Confer with vendors and suppliers to discuss defective or unacceptable materials and determine corrective action. Analyze international trade regulations and customs compliance in the United States-Mexico Republic of Korea Trade and assist with import and export shipments to ensure all imported products specification and import quantities meet the regulatory standards.
