Why Lytx:
The Installation Project Manager (IPM) works on the Installation Services team and coordinates with clients ( predominantly Mid-Market accounts) to plan and execute installations of our products into client vehicles. The ideal candidate will have some experience in operations, production or manufacturing planning and scheduling with rigorous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and will be proactive in reaching out to internal or external partners on various topics as needed. Successful candidates will bring a relentless execution mentality and an energetic, focused mindset for putting points on the board every day.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of product installations into client vehicles, including but not limited to accurate shipment of devices and accessories to be installed, coordination of technician resources to perform the installations, availability of and access to client vehicles, monitoring of installation project progress, and resolving any related issues.Create high-level installation deployment plans which meet client needs as well as internal milestones. Establish appropriate client expectations regarding deployment process and schedule.Generate supplier work orders and client sales orders consistent with planned delivery schedules and lead time.Coordinate with Logistics to ensure devices are shipped accurately and timely to client installation locations, are installed on-time by installation technicians and functioning properly, and are generally meeting client requirements. Follow up on execution. Monitor progress.Monitor and report on supplier and client performance against planned installation activities. Plan projects. Initiate execution. Track progress. Confirm completion.Maintain detailed project planning records within our ERP and CRM systems in support of deployment schedules. Investigate, reconcile and resolve any data discrepancies.Serve as the escalation contact for clients on shipment and/or installation-related issues. Work to ensure accurate and timely resolution.perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in production or distribution planning / scheduling role.Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceExperience with MRP/DRP systems required, including but not limited to master production scheduling, manufacturing line planning and replenishment/allocation planning. Experience with CRM systems preferred. Salesforce and NetSuite experience a plus.Process-oriented. Strong planning skills within a high volume production or distribution environment.Experience working in a cross-functional role with multiple key stakeholders and under tight deadlines / time pressure.Very detail-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to maintain and keep track of multiple information sources.Strong communication and interpersonal skills Innovation Lives Here
