Description:
The Integrated Logistics Support Analyst supports the ILS Team (Engineers, Technical Writers, Technical Artists, Managers, and Director) with tasking related to the sustainment of systems throughout their life cycle and other taskings as assigned. ILS Analyst reliably prepares information for inclusion to the ILS Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) documents for submittal to the government.

Organize Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) data in content management (CM) database and ensure CM processes are being followed
Assume ownership and technical management of ILS provisioning and component information which produces downstream reports such as: Source of Supply, Selected Item Drawings, Marking Plan, and others
Provide technical input and act as an engineering liaison within the ILS Team
Prepare ILS CDRLs and ensure they are processed on time
Support ILS Manager with administrative duties such as preparing presentations, attending meetings, and assisting in task book development
Serve as technical expert within ILS for Technical Writers and Artists that create Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals for hardware procured by the Department of Defense.
Manage metrics to reflect status of project
Provide provisioning support with respect to Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU) data and maintain status of Diminishing Material Supply and Material Shortages (DMSMS) for LRUs
Lead the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures
Provide subject matter expertise in one or more domains surrounding supportability analysis and considerations including (but not limited to) Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Suitability, Environmental/Hazmat requirements, Total Ownership Cost, Life Cycle Cost, and Reliability Centered Maintenance
Participate in the systems engineering process to impact design from its inception throughout the lifecycle, facilitating supportability to maximize the availability, effectiveness, and capability of designs
Analyze, organize, plan, and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities.
Participate in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis and provisioning conferences
Provide technical support on and programmatic support for (DMSMS) and Obsolescence Management
Develop, review, and provide supportability analysis including (but not limited to) Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) for CDRL submittal
Develop, review, and provide safety analyses including (but not limited to) System Safety Hazard Analysis Reports (SSHARs) with supporting information and remedial action reports
Analyze contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts and pursuit efforts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements

• No designing, more of a liaison between other engineering groups (design, systems, etc.) and ILS analyst
• Very collaborative, fielding questions from tech writers.
• Looking at 150 designs - conceptualize how to take it apart and put it back together, find real life problems overlooked by design, pinpoint drawing errors
