Responsibilities
The IAM Analyst will be responsible for processing client security requests for New, Changes, and Terminations for user access to Ascension application and services. You will be responsible for the creation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of user accounts. You will need to understand user access mechanisms, Active Directory, and provisioning tools in a variety of systems and applications as used at Ascension. You will regularly interact with internal and external clients; therefore, you must have excellent customer service skills, be well organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, and result focused. The candidate should be familiar with the Identity & Access management domain.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Create new users
Disabling users
Resetting passwords
Unlocking of accounts
Account permission changes
Add and remove users from to group
Manages groups
Respond to requests for new and established Ascension h and business partner accounts.
Maintain account information in multiple databases.
Be able to provide a high level of customer service while interacting with AMITA employees and
business partners.
Provision all user access accounts related to information systems.
Provide support functions related to verification of end user security classes, training and
credentials.
Assist in documenting to streamline the application account provisioning processes.
Promptly notifies IM management regarding breaches of security access policies.
Participate in project tasks as required.
Maintain summary statistics regarding workload etc.
Performs other duties as assigned
Top Skills Details:
Familiarity and strong experience with maintaining provisioning via Active Directory.
Any knowledge of all security protocols in relation to access.
Flexibility- a lot of things going on and fast paced.
Willingness to want to help, as lots of requests will be coming through.
Ability to see the big picture of the process, from front to end. They’re a piece of the process but
facilitating as part of a bigger picture.
The ability to adhere to and understand Ascension provisioning workflow.
Requirements
Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
Associate degree in Information Systems/Technology (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Active Directory provisioning access protocols.
Minimum 2 years’ experience with Electronic medical record access protocols.
Experience with user provisioning technologies, application and/or database security administration.
Understanding of user administration procedures.
Excellent time and project management skills, customer service and interpersonal skills, and communication (written and oral) are critical for success in this position.
