ICS: Instrument & Electrical Systems Technician

As an Instrument & Electrical Systems Technician, you will:
Provide maintenance actions to include installing, programming, calibrating, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing all components of Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE) at assigned sites.
Ensure that all maintenance activities are accomplished on time and with the highest degree of quality. Interact with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site representatives for the rapid identification and resolution of maintenance issues and the conduct of preventive maintenance activities.
Upload files and other data into a government owned database.
Install, repair, upgrade, and test electronic and computer-controlled mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot computer related issues and replace core components such as processors, drives, memory modules and network interface cards (NIC).
Read design prints and follow mandated processes and procedures.
Install and configure vendor specific software.
Maintain parts accountability and inventory controls to reduce/prevent loss or shortages.
Use and safeguard all property provided for contractor use (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment, and tools).
Ensure facilities are clean, free from debris and fire hazards.
Comply with all safety rules, regulations, and laws, IAW, current OSHSA, government, installation, and local agency standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access and security clearance if required by project.
Requires at least 2 years of practical experience, to include: Electronics Repair, Maintenance and integration, fielding, and checkout.
Must be able to pass a NACLC security background check.
Must possess strong computers skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and ability to install and configure vendor specific software.
Requires excellent attention to detail.
Must be both and quality and goal oriented.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to lift ±40lbs.
Must be able to climb stairs to access heights of 20’ or greater.
Must be willing and able to travel 30% of the time.
