  Position Summary

  As a Senior CMOD Engineer, you will maintain Guardian’s OnDemand environment while developing and implementing key technology components that advance modernization efforts and align with Guardian’s consumer centric digital strategy. You will use your innovation engineer skills and harness technical expertise to develop and execute a modern CMOD roadmap that supports enterprise growth.

  You Will:

  Provide management and support of CMOD environment.

  Resolve conflicting requests and meet changing requirements.

  Troubleshoot and resolving technical problems.

  Conduct research and analysis; make recommendations.

  Mentor, trainer, and provide guidance and assistance to team members.

  Develop and maintain solution documentation.

  Research new technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals.

  Apply innovative ways to solve technical design issues.

  You Have (Required Skills):

  Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.

  7+ years of relevant experience in IBM CMOD and solid understanding of CMOD components.

  3+ years’ Experience in ITIL framework and processes – incident, problem, and change management.

  Configure, maintain and support CMOD reports processing.

  Experience troubleshooting CMOD issues related to indexing, ingestion, retrieval etc.

  Basic understanding of Operating System (Linux, / HP Unix/ IBM AIX, Windows).

  Knowledge of middleware, APIs, databases (db2, oracle) & storage.

  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  You Have (Desired Skills):

  Knowledge of OT Exstream & Exstream Cloud.

  Knowledge of OT Empower.

  Experience with AFP, PDF, XML, PS.

  Scripting or programming language experience (Java, Shell, Python).

  Experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors.

  Mainframe experience.

  Knowledge and experience in Insurance, familiar with terminology, concepts and business processes and systems.

  Location & Travel:

  Hybrid Remote: 2 Days a week at Guardian Office in Holmdel, NJ, Bethlehem, PA. Pittsfield, MA or New York, NY.#Guardian IT

  Salary Range

  $91,260.00 - $149,925.00

  The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
