  Job Description:

  The Consultant Configuration Analyst is a member of the Health Care Operations Organization. This is an exciting role that offers an opportunity to blend your systems analysis, critical thinking, and analytical skills. The Consultant Configuration Analyst is responsible for providing support in an Agile environment for client advised projects to ensure that the systems are functioning according to the detailed business requirements. As a member of the Configuration Chapter, the Configuration Analyst serves as configuration expert within their squad on new client implementations and existing client corporate actions and fee for service projects. Your interactions with the team will model Fidelity leadership principles to sustain an agile innovative culture and build a positive environment for your squad.

  The Expertise and Skills

  Education

  • BS or BA Required

  Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Health & Welfare Domain is preferred.

  • Ability to evaluate client requirements against HOBS and FHB platform functionality and provide configuration design solutions as required

  • In depth knowledge of configuration solutions to support the implementation lifecycle conversion and testing phases

  • Ability to think across Agile Squads and product categories

  • Your organizational skills to define and meet deadlines within an Agile squad structure

  • Possess a competence in application/technology experience such as PLSQL, SQL, MS Access. Should be able to understand, write and process complex SQL queries

  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Ability to assess gaps between offering and client needs to recommend solutions

  • Highly organized and self-motivated

  • Flexible, multitasking and work with various members of the team on multiple projects or initiatives

  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment

  • Understanding of the software development project life cycle process

  • Experience with related desktop software tools (MS Office, JIRA)

  • Partner with the Scrum Leader/Squad Leader to understand the goals and the work for each sprint

  • Lead configuration processes/projects and deliver high quality results by working with Configuration Analysts.

  • Mentor and coach Configuration Analysts.

  • Problem solving/process improvement skills

  • Define and analyze client requirement changes for Annual Enrollment and Ongoing Projects

  • Perform data analysis and reporting for effective client decisions

  • Identify problems with business requirements and recommend modifications to the functional solution which may impact the system design

  • Review and build test scenarios for Unit and Regression Testing.

  • Perform root cause analysis when issues arise before and after code migrations

  • Commit to Agile values, pillars, and priorities to fortify your Agile squad
