About HVAC Service Manager

  The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  Supervise and lead Service TechniciansDirectly responsible for managing, evaluating field technicians, and developingConduct ride a longs with technicians and provide feedbackEnsure all maintenances/repairs are completed to the highest quality standardsCommunicate and monitor goalsManage workload and schedules to best utilize manpower and maximizes profitsEnsure technicians are being dispatched effectivelyAssist technicians with issues while in the fieldFacilitate weekly meetings and Monthly One on One's with Service staffResolve customer issues or concerns to ensure complete satisfactionEnsure all department operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and company requirementsEnsure all team members comply with OSHA safety standards.Harness a safety cultureProvide feedback to managers regarding market trends, revenue opportunities, customer issues, and all issues relevant to the businessManage and stay within departmental budgetAchieve budgeted gross marginMeet or exceed all company goalsMaximize lead opportunities, retain, and grow Club Membership clients.Manage inventory, equipment, and service fleetReview, approve new products and servicesPerform clerical duties associated with, but not limited to, field technician paperwork, personnel evaluations, and expense reportsCarry out additional duties assigned by the General Manager or OwnerObey and teach the company Code of Ethics Team Rules and Team Philosophy.One third of your time should be spent Developing the right Team Members, One third of your time should be spent following up on those team members, and then the last One third should be spend Supervising, Administrating, and Motivating your team. Manage your time in these proportions and you will be a successful Manager.Minimum Qualifications

  High School DiplomaValid Driver's LicenseBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsKnowledge of current code requirementsUnderstanding of accounting and finance as it relates to the industry.Responsibilities:- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the HVAC department- Coordinate and schedule HVAC technicians for service calls and installations- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards- Provide technical guidance and support to HVAC technicians as needed- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify any issues or potential problems- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate HVAC projects and ensure smooth operations- Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities

  Experience:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including understanding of schematics and equipment repair- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC issues- Experience with property maintenance, including plumbing, appliance repair, and general maintenance tasks- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
