　　Technical Diploma in instructional area or equivalent higher education training. Associate Degree preferred. A comparable combination of education and related work experience may be considered.Minimum of three years of experience in the HVAC/R field within the last five years.Must possess knowledge of all phases of industrial, residential, and commercial HVAC/R systems to include installation and service.Strong hands-on technical background in the field of instruction.[SKILLS]{new="" roman="" times=""}

　　Must possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective assistant to the instructor and to interact with high school and adult students.Must show evidence of good character, mature attitude, and stable personality.Must possess computer skills.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students a plus.[GENERAL DUTIES: The Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program Instructor's Assistant primarily assists the lead instructor in performing the general duties of an occupational instructor. Areas this position will assist the program instructor with include, but are not limited to: providing classroom and lab instruction to high school and adult students, monitoring individual students' progress, recruitment and placement of students, serving as a substitute instructor as needed and other duties as assigned. The Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Instructor's Assistant will report to the Director of the Clarksville Campus.
