　　Project, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) position - Monday - Friday,9am-5:30pm

　　This position will focus on assisting homeless individuals staying atthe Homeless Services Center by increasing community supports andoverall stabilization leading to permanent, safe and supportive housing.A successful candidate in this position will also assist withapplications for housing subsidies, location and placement in permanenthousing, client outreach and relationship building, development ofhousing resources, increased representative payee participation andreferrals and follow up to ensure increased community support. Thisposition works closely with individuals from all different backgroundsto provide and connect them to community resources.

　　Other job duties include: Crisis intervention, referral for detox andother substance use services, referral for mental health services,referral for healthcare services, as well as fully participating as partof the Homeless Services Center team. Requirements: Experience withhomeless or low income/at risk case management and excellent customerservice skills. Experience with housing placement of homeless or at-riskpopulations, mental health issues, and other barriers toself-sufficiency preferred. B.A. degree in Social Services or equivalentcombination of education, experience, and training. Valid Maine Class Cdrivers license (please provide license number) and personal vehicle forwork use. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of asatisfactory criminal background check.
