About Human Resources Trainee

  THE OPPORTUNITY

  We are looking for a talented and motivated Human Resources Intern . During your internship you will interact with various departments from our team in Portugal and gather hands-on experience within the HR area. The internship will run for one year and you will have the chance to experience different challenges across different departments.

  You will be working from Boehringer Ingelheim’s offices in Portugal.

  YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Support the main HR activities related with onboarding & offboarding;

  Support ongoing recruitment processes;

  Support to employees in all HR related queries (labor code, compensation and benefits, payroll, time management);

  Preparation of local documentation and update employees’ records in Success Factors throughout the employee life cycle;

  Management of employee’s benefits (insurances, pension plan,..) and occupational medicine;

  Active participation in HR projects;

  Administrative support to several tasks.

  WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM?

  Your passion, creativity and enthusiasm.

  Educational background in Human Resources, Business Management or similar;

  Previous work experience is considered a plus;

  Excellent command of the Portuguese and English language is mandatory;

  Good interpersonal and communication skills;

  Accountable: Prioritizes work and drives execution excellence through accuracy, discipline and collaboration;

  Profound knowledge of standard MS Office programs;

  Evidence of effective problem – solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills;

  Taste for challenging and eager to learn.
