The Managerof Human Resources coordinates implementation of services, policies, andprograms through Human Resources staff; reports to the Sr. Director ofStrategic Development and assists and advises managers about HumanResources issues.
JOB DUTIES:
Development of the Human Resources Department
Develop and monitor an annual budget that includes Human Resourcesservices, employee engagement recognition, and administration
Select and supervise Human Resources consultant and trainingspecialists, and coordinate company use of insurance brokers, insurancecarriers, pension administrators, and other outside sources
Maintain compliant and appropriate policies, programs, and practices tohelp align workforce with strategic CRMC goals
Establish departmental measures that support the accomplishment of CRMCsstrategic goals
Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, totrack strategic goal accomplishment
Establish the standard recruiting practices and procedures necessary torecruit and hire a superior workforce
Lead workforce retention strategies
Ensure regulatory and credentialing compliance for associates (notproviders)
Partner with management to communicate Human Resources policies,procedures, programs and laws
Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary toestablish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a highlevel of employee morale and motivation
Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints or concerns
Monitor and advise managers and supervisors in the corrective actionsystem of the company
Review, guide, and approve management recommendations for employmentterminations
Lead the implementation of company safety and health programs; Monitorthe tracking of OSHA-required data; focus efforts on improving workerscompensation cost reduction
Establish the company wage and salary structure using competitive marketrate studies, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay system
Participate in at least one salary survey per year
Lead the development of benefit orientations and other benefits training
Monitor compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal andgovernment reporting requirements including any related to the EqualEmployment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA),the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Retirement IncomeSecurity Act (ERISA), the Department of Labor, worker compensation, theOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Office of FederalContractor Compliance Program (OFCCP), Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL)and so forth. Maintain minimal company exposure to lawsuits
Manage employee communication and feedback through such avenues ascompany meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys,newsletters, one-on-one meetings, and Intranet use
Identify and monitor the organizational culture so that it supports theattainment of the company\'s goals and promotes employee satisfaction
Maintain confidentiality of all information according to HIPAA andcompany policy
The Human Resources Manager assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Professional appearance and ease in developing rapport with others
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, includingMicrosoft Office
Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programsand other Human Resources programs
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills
