  JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description JOB TITLE: Generalist I - Human ResourcesFLSA STATUS: Hourly / Overtime Eligible PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsiblefor providing Basic administrative support to Department of EmployeeServices & Benefits PRIMARY DUTIES: Legend: E = Essential NE =Non-Essential N/A = Not Applicable 1. Perform administrative andservices related to the department such as scanning documents, answeringcalls inquiries to the department. E 2. Prepare, process, and follow upall employment verifications, employee references, id badges & controllog, background checks, end of employment documentation and closeprocess. E 3. Assist with audits prep, tuition support request, employeedata entry, and documentation into HRIS system. E 4. Develop and submitreports and documents as needed. E 5. Assist and help facilitate newemployee orientation E 6. Provide support on projects and specialassignments. NE 7. Perform administrative and clerical duties for thedepartment. E 8. Attend all meetings and professional developmentactivities, as requested. NE 9. Perform other related duties, asassigned. NE 10. Be a team player! E Requirements PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals withdisabilities to perform the essential functions. WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is generally performed in office setting and may include some localtravel and occasional state-wide travel. REPORTS TO: HR Manager ordesignee MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School Diploma plus three (3)years\' experience working in a Human Resource setting. OR 2. AssociateDegree or equivalent (60 credits) from an accredited College orUniversity in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or closely related fieldand one (1) year working in an administrative position. 1. Bilingual(Spanish and English), spoken and written. (Highly preferred) Qualifiesfor annual stipend. 3. Neat orderly person with great organizationalskills. 4. Must be a \"People Person\" with a great disposition andoutlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasantto work with and is a good listener. 5. Knowledge and experience withMicrosoft Office suite. 6. Must be willing and able to work flexiblehours as needed. 7. Excellent communication and documentation skills,written and verbal 8.
