  We have changed the way we deliver Human Resources services at Texas A&M University with new organizational structures and new opportunities for Human Resources Professionals. We have multiple opportunities for Human Resources Generalists at all experience and skill levels. These positions, located on-site at our main campus in College Station, Texas, are integral to the success of service-oriented, people forward changes. The HR Generalist will provide Human Resources and Payroll support to customers in the creation, posting and processing of Human Resources actions in Workday or related systems. Maintaining personnel records, processing payroll and preparing HR documents for approval and processing will be core of your daily work. If you are already a Human Resources Professional with broader experiences, your responsibilities include providing guidance on university, state and federal rules, laws and requirements for Human Resources and Payroll. Providing feedback and working with Central HR to develop and amend policies and processes and providing training, mentoring and team leadership will allow you to contribute at your level of expertise. You will acquire and maintain your expertise in Human Resources laws, regulations and guidelines. Special care is taken to ensure the right development opportunities are planned to advance your career.

  Qualifications*

  We are recruiting for all levels of HR Generalists, however, our immediate needs are for HR Generalists III and IV positions.

  Minimum qualifications for an HR Generalist III: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and three full years of HR Generalist related experience.

  Minimum qualification for an HR Generalist IV: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and five full years of HR Generalist related experience.

  The well-qualified candidates would possess the following: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or closely related field; medium to strong experience as a Human Resources generalist and experience with Workday or related Human Capital Management (HCM) application.

  Compensation and classification is based on the analyses of the above qualifications during the recruitment process.
