Summary:
This is a mid-level position in the Human Resources Analyst series. The incumbent is a pivotal member of our operations which requires a high-level of integrity. Although they may specialize in an area of human resources, the incumbent will assist all levels of our company operations by guiding and supporting departments in a human resources capacity. The incumbent works closely with management members, acting as a resource with regard to human resources functions.

Essential Functions:
General
May assist in developing and revising job descriptions, using the department director and HR Director's input.Responsible for utilizing and maintaining the storage of job descriptions and organizational charts in an organized manner.Maintains personnel files and ensures records are retained in compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures.Develops and compiles various letters and reports in an accurate and timely manner.Maintains accurate and organized file system.Processes newly hired employees; conducts general orientation, and processes paperwork timely.Actively participates and/or provides guidance in the drug testing process and maintains records relating results and compliance of post-testing requirements.Develops and maintains professional relationships with employees, supervisors, and all levels of management.Provides superior customer service byway of appropriate, professional, timely, and thorough responses using multiple communication avenues.Excels in working independently and as a member of a team.```{=html}

```- Recommend and implement training and process improvements based on organizational objectives.- Operates and maintains office equipment, including but not limited to: computer, programmable telephone system, programmable fax and multi-use photocopier.- Typically works days during the week, but may be required to work overtime or to support other efforts during varying hours and weekends/days.

Employee Relations
Provides supervisors and manager's support and guidance in the areas of employee issues, operational needs, employee performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, etc.Monitors unemployment claims, sends responses timely and accurately, and represents the company during the adjudication process and in unemployment appeals.Responsible for tracking and fulfilling appeal requirements within policy; gather and distribute documents and/or information for all appeals.Plans, arranges, conducts, and concludes investigations related to workplace misconduct and in compliance with best practices, laws, policies, procedures, etc.Conducts exit interviews for each separation from the company.Identifies trends in items that surface or makes suggestions in an effort to find long-term solutions.
Recruiting
Ensures Tribal Preference compliance with hiring, promotions, transfers, and other related personnel actions.Coordinates timely recruitment efforts, i.e. posts ads for open positions, maintains job files, coordinates interview process, conducts background checks (if applicable), etc.Creates recruiting opportunities through creative efforts to gain the best candidates.Continuously monitors our staffing levels and operational needs in an effort to ensure that they are being met by being proactive and taking initiative.Training
Travel to and from multiple training sites.
