Description
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and corresponding with candidates.
Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases by updating employee records and generating reports as needed.
Assist in benefits administration by supporting open enrollment, resolving employee inquiries, and collaborating with benefits providers.
Handle HR-related inquiries and requests from employees, providing accurate and timely information or directing them to the appropriate resource.
Assist in organizing training sessions, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
Maintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as legal regulations.
Process weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees accurately and on time.
Calculate and input hours worked, overtime, vacation, and other relevant payroll adjustments.
Ensure compliance with payroll policies, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll data and address discrepancies.
Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Generate payroll reports and maintain payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes.
Collaborate with HRIS to streamline and enhance payroll processes.
Cross-trained in Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and reconciliation.
Cross-trained in Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures, managing customer invoices, collections, and resolving payment discrepancies.
Handle Customer Service Representative (CSR) duties, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Assist in scheduling activities, coordinating appointments, meetings, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
Participate in purchasing functions, including vendor communication, order entry and processing, and inventory management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Previous experience (3+ years) in an HR support role or administrative capacity is desirable.
Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems; experience with HR software is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Previous experience in processing weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations.
Effective communication skills to interact with employees regarding payroll matters.
Ability to handle confidential payroll information with discretion.
Familiarity with wage and hour laws, tax filings, and other payroll-related functions.
Willingness and ability to cross-train in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Scheduling, Order Entry, and Purchasing.
Adaptability to learn and perform tasks across multiple functional areas.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to excel in varied responsibilities.
Flexibility in handling diverse tasks and adjusting to changing priorities.
Previous experience or exposure to AP, AR, CSR, scheduling, or purchasing is a plus.
