Our well-respected client is hiring a Human Resource Generalist to join their team. The main focus of the HR Generalist will involve completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Main assignments will involve managing LOA, FMLA, Workers Compensation and employee files; onboarding; employee relations; being first point of contact on benefits or policy questions; and assisting with other HR duties. The HR Generalist role offers work/life balance, impact, competitive salary, and benefits.

Maintain employee files, manage timesheets, and follow up on administrative documentation
Assist with the recruiting process
Create onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Preside over appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addresses employee grievances
Investigate, file, and resolve LOA, FMLA, WC and unemployment issues
Be the first point of contact for employees and supervisors on employee relations issues
Requirements
Skilled at time management
3+ years of human resources experience in a manufacturing environment
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to influence, interact, and build strong relationships at all levels across the organization
Trained in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Be comfortable communicating through all levels of the organization
Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
