About the Role
Lead the Training function at the Plant to ensure that training is correctly sourced, planned, effective, consistent and recorded to meet legislative, regulatory and company requirements.
Co-ordinate all training activities & reports including EH&S, QA, MAFACT and compliance within the plant.
Manage a Training Management System to optimise the recording, assigning and tracking of training and to ensure compliance with all requirements.
Co-ordinate training requirements for the implementation of change management & new equipment working with operations and the management team.
Ensure that standardised methods for delivery, recording and reporting of training.
Co-ordinate the work schedules of the trainers with the Shift Managers to ensure that Operational training goals and flexibility targets are achieved.
Carry out training needs analysis on an annual basis.
Involved in Internal and Company Audits.
Gather and analyse data including training metrics & KPIs.
Perform other reasonable duties as required.
Your Responsibilities
Who we are looking for
Your preferred qualifications
HR and/or QQI Training Qualification desirable. Train the Trainer (QQI Level 6) an advantage.
Proven experience in a HR, Administration or Training.
Understanding of training needs analysis, training planning, training matrixes, training policies & procedures.
Excellent MS Office and ability to learn new software required.
Knowledge of legislation in relation to mandatory training requirements is an advantage.
