  Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager

  Coordinate talent acquisition efforts by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

  Assist with all aspects of the  WSIB  claims process leading to the safe return to  work  of employees

  Lead attendance and performance management programs

  Monitor employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages

  Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes

  Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and provincial requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records

  Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

  Qualifications

  Degree in human resources an asset

  Experience in human resources management

  CHRL designation an asset

  Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems

  Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office

  Ability to work individually and as part of a team, to prioritize tasks in order of urgency

  Excellent communication (verbal and written) and comprehension skills

  Develop ed creative problem-solving skills to look at the “big picture”
