Join our client, from the Education space, as a Human Resources Assistant, working under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources. In this role, you'll perform various administrative duties related to personnel functions and programs. General Responsibilities:
Exemplify client's ideals by adhering to established philosophy, objectives, policies, and standards.
Complete high-quality work with minimal errors.
Follow and be familiar with policies in the Employee Handbook.
Maintain calm and objectivity in challenging situations.
Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Schedule appointments and arrange meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Record Maintenance:
Maintain current HR files, including personnel, payroll, and benefits files.
Update HRIS home page monthly with important information.
Keep I-9, CORI, and MVR records up to date.
Record certificates, certifications, licensure paperwork, and other relevant documents in personnel files.
Requirements - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Past position in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Comfortable developing and managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Able to manage time well
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
1+ years of human resources experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
