　　This is both an on-site and community position, consisting of 40 hours per week, which serves to support the residents, staff, and community partners. The position provides support to residents in many aspects of developing and maintaining their housing status, such as furnishing their apartments, keeping their apartment clean and tidy, and maintaining building rules that contribute to housing stability. The position is responsible for daytime and/or evening building oversight.

　　DUTIES:

　　Provide support and guidance to residents in their housing goals, including completing housing applications and attending/transporting to apartment showings.

　　Maintain a comfortable, caring, clean, sensitive, nurturing, and safe environment for residents.

　　Be a useful resource available and willing to assist staff or residents in the capacity of mentor, or to help in challenging situations.

　　Demonstrate an understanding of residents' unique needs and provide teaching and coaching appropriate to their developmental level.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Lived experience in mental health and substance abuse systems desirable. Participation in required in-service training and ongoing continuing education. Basic computer / word processing skills are required.
