Four (4) temporary, full-time housekeeper positions available. Dates ofneed 03/25/2024 - 11/30/2024. Positions available in the followinglocation: 71 Gurnet Rd, Brunswick, ME 04011.
Duties: Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintainhotel rooms and guest common areas in a clean and orderly manner. Dutiesinclude cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens,doing laundry, and vacuuming. Requirements: No minimum education orexperience required. Schedule: Monday through Sunday (schedule varies).Shifts: 8am-3pm or 4pm-9pm (shift hours may vary). Five rotating days.Employer will offer at least (no less than) thirty-five (35) hours perweek. Pay: \$15.80/hr, OT varies at \$23.70/hr. Optional employeehousing available at a rate of \$150 per week to be deducted frompaycheck. On the job training provided. Workers paid bi-weekly. Singleworkweek used to compute wages due. Employer will make all deductionsfrom the workers paycheck required by law and optional housing, ifapplicable.
Inbound/Outbound transportation & subsistence: If the worker completes50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the workerfor transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to theplace of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the workeris dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workersreasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home orto the place the worker originally departed to work, except where theworker will not return due to subsequent employment with anotheremployer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workersvoluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportationpayment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical andreasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistenceprovided at a rate of at least \$15.46 per day during travel to amaximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. Daily transportation: Workersare responsible for their own daily transportation to and from theworksite.
Visa & related expenses: Workers will be reimbursed in the firstworkweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and otherrelated fees, including those mandated by the government (exceptpassport fees) by check separate from payroll. Tools: Employer willprovide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment requiredto perform the job. Guarantee: Employer guarantees to offer work forhours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-week period oftotal employment period.
