Responsibilities Mentor and motivate a team of software engineers and train new hires. Provide feedback to management about the team member skill set and performance; develop application code to control a fleet of automated vehicles using object-oriented concepts and C# languages; build and execute database queries using SQL; interact with internal departments and external customers on software development projects and standard processes; host daily status meetings with team; coordinate tasks and schedule between team members and project managers; meet with customers and project managers to gather project requirements and develop design solutions to meet project need; create software flow diagrams to capture project requirements; review code of team members; troubleshoot and debug issues related to core functionality and concepts; create and implement test plans; collect and monitor project budget and schedules from team members; and perform Root Cause Analysis on Project Budget overrun and Schedule delays. Position is eligible to work remotely up to 75% of the time and required to travel domestically the remaining 25% of the time. Qualifications Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or closely related field and: 5 years of experience of software design and development to capture project requirements and create software flow diagrams. 3 years of experience developing code using object-oriented language, such as Jscript or C#. 3 years of experience building and executing database queries using SQL.
