　　The opportunity

　　We are seeking a caring Part-time RN to join the Bethany family.  

　　The RN works with a team of hospice aides, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers in developing a plan of care to provide for the needs of our patients and families.  We serve patients within a 35-mile radius of our Greentree office in private residences, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. 　　Requirements:

　　RN License in PA

　　At least one year of nursing experience, hospice experience is a plus

　　Vehicle, driver’s license and car insurance

　　Understanding of hospice philosophy and needs of the terminally ill (we can help you with this one!)

　　Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices

　　Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting

　　Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers

　　Satisfactory criminal background check

　　Presentation of negative TB test or CXR as required by state law

　　Demonstrate good nursing judgement and excellent observation and communication skills 

　　Ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner

　　Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision

　　Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations

　　Desire to be part of the best hospice team in western Pennsylvania
