Actalent is currently hiring for a Histotechnologist opportunity in the Washington D.C location!
Job Description:
ASCP certified clinical laboratory scientist or histotechnologist with at least one year of IHC experience. Experience performing antibody validations would be optimal. IHC experience must be using DAKO automation and/or technologist must have HQIP examination certification.
Technologist must be flexible and willing to perform other duties in the anatomic pathology laboratory as staffing needs including the following:
Slide distribution.
Accessioning
Slide and block filing.
Embedding & microtomy
Tissue processor changing
Cytology FNA coverage
Cytology medical sample preparation
Skills:
Staining, Pathology, IHC, ASCP, Laboratory, Biology, Chemistry, Accessioning, Tissue samples
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
ASCP OR AMT Certification
Histotechnologist specific skills including: embedding, microtomy , and IHC.
IHC experience is a must
