JMT, is currently ranked #59 on Engineering News-Record's list of the Top 500 Design Firms.Position summary: JMT's Southeastern PA Highway Team is in need of a strong, career-minded, leader to help deliver our strong portfolio of exciting and impactful highway infrastructure and complete streets projects.  The selected candidate will be embedded in a team of experienced project managers and professional engineers, helping to lead technical designs, coordinate with multiple discipline leads,  and serve as client-forward contacts. The successful candidate will also act as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers and will help grow the team and win work.Essential functions and responsibilities:*  Technical understanding of civil/roadway design ranging from complete streets to interstate reconstruction*  Manage all technical resources and multiple disciplines on the project team*  1-on-1 Client Interaction and participation in client presentations*  Manage and coordinate with subconsultants*  Develop and monitors schedules, budgets, and scope and prepares invoices.*  Prepare project status report and invoices*  Develop and maintain project specific quality plans*  Development of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals*  Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposalsNonessential functions and responsibilities:*  Perform other related duties as assigned

　　Required Experience*Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering program*Professional Engineer License*8+ years' experience in specialized discipline*Proficient in Microsoft OfficeQualifications preferred:*Experience working with the City of Philadelphia and/or PennDOT*Project management and business development experience*Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3*Experience managing multidiscipline project teamsWorking Conditions:At JMT we value a healthy work/life balance and offer a flexible hybrid working schedule.Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking.
