Description

We are in search of a Help Desk Manager to be based in Glenview, Illinois. The role is within the IT consulting space, providing an opportunity to bring your skills in Microsoft 365, Windows, Database, EO/IR systems, Microsoft, Networking, and Active Directory to our team. This role is a permanent position, offering the chance to play a crucial part in our company's continued growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the help desk team to ensure optimum customer service

• Utilize Citrix Technologies to improve and maintain the company's technical systems

• Manage and maintain the company's database systems to ensure accurate and timely information provision

• Implement and maintain EO/IR systems in accordance with industry standards

• Use Microsoft and other software tools to maintain and improve the company's IT infrastructure

• Manage and maintain networking systems to ensure secure and efficient data transfer

• Utilize Active Directory for network user and resource management

• Ensure computer hardware is properly maintained and upgraded as necessary

• Oversee configuration management to ensure system stability and availability

• Manage deployments of new systems and software across the organization

• Provide deskside support to staff, troubleshooting any technical issues they may encounter

• Utilize MS Office 365 and Microsoft Windows in day-to-day tasks and project management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Help Desk Manager or similar role in IT services

• Familiarity with Database management

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Systems, including MS Office 365 and Microsoft Windows

• Strong knowledge of Networking systems

• Experience with Active Directory

• Proficiency in Computer Hardware

• Skilled in Configuration Management

• Experience in Deployments

• Experience providing Deskside Support

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred

• Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
