Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst III in the education industry, based in Dallas, Texas. The role involves managing media technology, developing strategies for technology use in education, and collaborating with educational leaders and staff to meet the technological needs of the institution.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee media technology across the institution, with a focus on AV technology, conference technology, and IT infrastructure.

• Develop and implement strategies for the use of technology in education, with a focus on improving learning outcomes and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with educational leaders, teachers, and administrative staff to identify and meet the technological needs of the institution.

• Design, maintain, and optimize AV systems and digital media technologies for various facilities within the institution.

• Ensure continuous operation and maintenance of AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, cameras, and interactive whiteboards.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest educational technology and AV innovations to ensure the institution remains at the forefront of technological enrichment in learning.

• Manage the budget for media technology expenditures, including the purchase and maintenance of equipment and software licenses.

• Train and support faculty and staff on effective use of AV and media technology in their teaching and administrative duties.

• Implement and enforce data security and privacy best practices in compliance with district policies and regulations.

• Lead and mentor the media technology team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and innovation.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft

• Knowledge of Active Directory

• Experience with Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Mac OS Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Familiarity with Active Directory and its management

• Experience in Deskside Support for both hardware and software issues

• Knowledge and understanding of Mac OS and its functionalities

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff, faculty, and students

• Ability to document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution

• Willingness to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the field of IT

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• High level of patience and excellent customer service skills

• Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
