The CommuniCare Family of Comapnies is a privately owned healthcare organization based in the Blue Ash suburb of Cincinnati, OH. Since 1984 we have owned and operated healthcare facilities in multiple states. The Healthcare Accountant position is a full-time position located at our Corporate Office and serves as a key member to the accounting department.

　　Job duties & responsibilities

　　Responsible for ensuring timely month end close processing and financial statement review and distribution.

　　Reviews bi-weekly labor reports, analyzes variances, and distributes to management.

　　Performs monthly bank account reconciliations and various balance sheet account reconciliations.

　　Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations and work papers for quarterly balance sheet reviews by accounting management.

　　Assists department management in preparation for various audits

　　Other accounting projects and functions as assigned.

　　Qualifications & Experience requirements

　　A bachelor degree in accounting and 1-3 yrs of accounting experience,

　　Healthcare environment experience preferred.

　　Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

　　Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

　　Excellent Excel skills are required

　　Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

　　Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.

　　A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, is traits needed to be successful in this role.
