About Head of OE Korea, Japan & India

  Job Description

  Strategy

  • Develop and sustain OE business in market Japan, Korea and India regions in accordance with OE BA strategy, achieve sustainable profitability and value creation

  • Develop and execute technical and commercial strategies to position Conti in a competitive place for current and future business opportunities

  • contribute to OE BA strategies with regional inputs and future business plans

  Team Management

  • Direct and functional leadership securing individual performance and personnel development for own area of responsibility

  • Build and manage high-performing teams in the region and a highly engaging working culture

  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle together with the HR function, including workforce planning & monitoring, talent acquisition, talent & organizational development, coaching & mentoring, feedback management, compensation and exit management

  KAM/ Business Development

  • Manage BA OE Tires business with the OE customers with P&L responsibility in market Japan, Korea and India regions

  • Oversee daily operations of OE BA business in market Korea, Japan and India

  • Develop and drive GKAMs to build regional business plan, annual budget and monthly forecasts, ensure implementation

  • Lead business acquisition activities in close coordination with Key Account Managers to realize the strategic sales plan

  Customer Relations

  • Create a transparent, compliant, trustworthy, customer approach culture among the KAMs in the region

  • Step in and interact with the customer, demonstrating role model behavior, in case of escalation needs in critical technical and commercial topics

  • Ensure all necessary resources, people and processes are in place to create sustainable customer satisfaction

  Technology

  • Ensure to have all resources managed effectively and efficiently to deliver competitive technologies to our customers

  Quality Management

  • Create a quality first culture and ensure all necessary processes, resources and people are in place to maintain quality

  • Act as a role model in quality management

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable technical and legal rules and regulations

  GT PoMS

  Local sub process responsible for MP03 A, MP03 B, responsible for:

  • the contents on Local Level

  • the implementation on Local Level

  • the target / KPIs/PIs on Local Level

  • the Sub Process performance on Local level

  • the trainings on Local Level

  • the review on Local Level

  • the approval of Documents on Local Level

  • the improvement of the process on Local Level

  • perform Risks & Opportunities Analysis (see Procedure Risk & Opportunity Analysis in GT PoMS)

  • the alignment with tCompliance requirements

  • perform the Effectives check

  Action Plan implementation

  Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering

  More than 5 years experience as Key Account Manager in tire or automotive industry

  Experienced in OEM product development processes

  Experienced in cross-funtional and cross-cultural team managament

  Several years of intercultural experience, especially with Korea, Japan, and India, ideally in the OEM environment
